Building ai.

We are a student run research and development group, with the stated aim of promoting interdisciplinary AI research among undergrads. We are tinkering with all things AI -- from vanilla Machine Learning to Generative Adversarial Networks, and everything in between. VIThink was founded in the summer of 2018 by the visionary Dr. Susan Elias with a team of 14 passionate undergrads at the Vellore Institute of Technology, Chennai Campus. United by the dream of intelligent machines, and armed with a zealous thirst for knowledge, we have set out to create, to apply, to contribute and to think. Remember: the wittier you are, the more respected you will be.

A workshop on Machine Learning

We recently conducted a two day Machine Learning workshop for our juniors to get acquainted to the subject and acquire a deep interest in it.
The main focus of this workshop was on regression and classification problems and an introduction to Neural Networks and Deep Learning.
Along with theory the students also indulged in hands on experience with ML in Python using Jupyter Notebook.

"Awesome effort! Thanks for initiating this. Was useful." -M. Harini

"It was a great workshop. It will help me in my future projects." - L Rohith Paul

"You were great in providing channeled skill development." - Kartik Joshi

"It was really amazing. Workshop served its purpose to help me in getting familiar with technical jargons and basic concepts and I feel really confident after this that I can dive into MOOCs and other courses. Thumbs up to the team. A job well done boiiis :)"
